On behalf of the Steering Committee of the IV Economy for the Common Good International Conference (ECGIC26), we are pleased to announce the open call for abstracts. We welcome contributions pertaining the conference theme: “Transforming Towards a Fair and Sustainable Economy: Shared Responsibility of Science and Practice“, from all disciplines and sectors (academic, public, private, and civil society). Topics can be related, but not limited to:

  • Economic systems and the common good
  • Theoretical foundations of the Economy for the Common Good
  • Mapping and structuring the foundations of the Economy for the Common Good: building a research taxonomy
  • Organizational strategies and the Common Good
  • Sustainable Development Goals and the Common Good
  • Accounting and measurement of Common Good activities
  • Business ethics
  • Circular Economy
  • Beyond Growth, Social and Solidarity Economy, and other future-fit economic models
  • Reformation of curricula towards sustainable economics

We especially encourage contributions from early-career researchers and Ph.D. students. The conference will offer formats tailored to support their work and networking activities. Please submit your abstracts by the deadline: September 30th.
