“Replace the tradional business plan in the training of future business leaders”
We are pleased to announce the publication of the first framework for the Sustainable Business Plan (SBP), also known as the Positive Impact Plan (PIP). This strategic document moves beyond traditional business logic, proposing a new paradigm for business success that generates positive social and environmental impact in addition to economic profit. The SBP is established as a fundamental guide for new business initiatives, focusing on creating value for all stakeholders.
The design of this plan is founded on extensive research that seeks to drive systemic change in entrepreneurship and education. The project has submitted proposals with several partners to European calls, including EU Horizon 2024 and Erasmus+ 2025. It underpins on key sustainable frameworks and tools such as the common good matrix of ECOnGOOD.
The project began on a small scale in an academic setting, applying the framework to final Bachelor’s Theses (BSc) and Master’s Theses (MSc). The ultimate goal is for the SBP framework to replace the traditional business plan in the training of future business leaders.
Seminars and training programs have been conducted for researchers and leaders responsible for university entrepreneurship education programs. Approaches are being made to entrepreneurship and investment ecosystems to validate the plan. We are also reaching out to local development agencies that promote sustainable development and wealth generation.
