The next edition of the Economy for the Common Good International Conference (ECGIC 2026) aims to foster the dialogue about an Economy for all. Under the main theme: Transforming towards a fair and sustainable economy. Shared responsibility of science and practice, the 2026 conference will continue and further develop the interdisciplinary approach of the first three events. The conferences’ overall aim is to provide knowledge-based foundations to the ECG economic model.

The organization of the conference will be coordinated by a Steering Committee composed of:

Prof. Dr. Christiane Hellbach (OTH AW)

Laura Völkl (OTH AW)

Dita Hommerová (University of West Bohemia)

Lara Lütke-Spatz Luetke-Spatz (BayZeN)

Christian Felber (ECOnGOOD)

Jose Carlos Ramos, PhD (ECOnGOOD)

The confluence of diverse narratives has been an important reason for the positive reception of the conferences among speakers and participants in previous editions. The call for papers will therefore attract academic work related to ECG and other alternative economic models.
