The launch of the Matrix 5.2 will be the topic of our next ECOnGOOD conversation happening on October 29th at 1 pm CET. The new updated version will help organisations understand and improve their own contribution and impact to society and the environment. The Common Good Matrix is a practical framework that pushes all of us to look beyond financial performance and ask a broader question: how do our activities contribute to society as a whole?

This will be our first ECOnGOOD conversation in German, which Renata Sommer and Sabine Lehner will share the history behind this tool, its relevance to ECOnGOOD’s mission and how the update process took place.

Renata Sommer is an industrial engineer, certified in project management and quality management systems. She has many years of experience in multinational companies working on integrated management systems, with a particular focus on occupational health and safety.  Brazil, Switzerland, Oman, Malaysia, China and Germany are some of the countries she has already worked at. Renata is a member of the Economy for the Common Good for three years and a certified ECOnGOOD consultant. For the past two years, part of the Matrix Development Team (MDT), responsible for integrating the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME), adopted by the European Commission, into the Common Good Matrix.

Sabine Lehner has a background in qualifications, advertising, communication & marketing, organisational development and brand development theory. Since 2005, when she founded MARKENwerkstat in Austria, her focus has been on external communications and strategic brand development.
