The 3FO Foundation has successfully completed its first Common Good Balance Sheet. The external audit results are now available. As one of the key funders of the ECOnGOOD Associations in Switzerland and Germany, as well as the International Federation, the 3FO Foundation demonstrates that it does not only make an impact by funding common-good-oriented projects, but also by acting responsibly in its operations.
Regardless of the nature of any business or organisation, impact has become increasingly important in recent years. Charitable foundations and associations, in particular, are increasingly being assessed on the contribution they make to society and the environment. To make this reality comprehensive and visible as possible, the 3FO Foundation opted for a Common Good Balance Sheet.
For almost a year and a half, employees, delegates, the board and external partners intensively engaged with the Common Good Matrix process. Although the rating system has a maximum of 1000 points, this value is considered more of a theoretical target in practice. Currently, the highest rating is around 750 points. Against this backdrop, the 561 points achieved by the 3FO Foundation in its first assessment are a very pleasing result. The foundation lives up to its purpose and is prepared to be held accountable to this standard.
“Particularly noteworthy are the strong value orientation, the consistent sustainability in the construction and operational processes, and the lived culture of personal development and participation.”
