The Consultancy Project of the Common Good Matrix for Municipalities was successfully completed in collaboration with Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Six students cooperated in this research consultancy project, supported by Fabricio Bonilla and José Ramos from the ECOnGOOD Science and Research Hub and led by Monika Culka, a member of the Matrix Development Team.
The students worked closely with various municipalities to understand their unique challenges and needs. They conducted extensive research, including field studies and interviews with local government officials. Their results, process description, recommendations, and methodology were meticulously documented and compiled, serving as a comprehensive guide for municipalities looking to improve their consultancy processes. This Matrix is now accessible to all participating municipalities and will undoubtedly serve as a valuable resource for years to come.
In order to properly inform all interested parties, a closing event was celebrated last week, where the core group offered a final presentation on their findings and recommendations. Their innovative approaches and thorough analysis offer practical solutions that can be implemented across various municipalities.
Heartfelt gratitude is extended to the students and all participants who contributed to the success of this project. Their dedication and hard work have made a significant impact, and there is anticipation for the positive changes that will result from their efforts, paving the way for better municipal consultancy services. This join initiative not only highlights the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and local governments but also sets a precedent for future projects.
